There’s already so many ground breaking applications of Artificial Intelligence being introduce right now, so it can make it easier to predict what these many develop into in the future. Here are some suggestions:
Will AI really take your job:
With greater cognitive ability comes the risk of AI impinging on jobs that require thought & creativity. This doesn’t necessarily mean global unemployment. It could uncover the greater chance to work alongside AI to enhance our working lives.
Humans live longer:
With greater machine learning techniques will come increased ability to detect and understand correlation between symptoms, patient histories and the likelihood of developing certain diseases.
Ethical crisis:
Decision logic programmed into the AI system will have to be what humans believe to be ethical. Linking to concerns over autonomous driving & weaponry and as AI advances, target detection and recognition will improve. The partnership of AI is already going someway to tackle this.
Autonomous Cars:
Whilst there’s still many things to iron out with autonomous vehicles before they get released onto our roads, there is just a matter of time until we are living in a society more reliant on autonomous technologies for travel.
AI saves the planet:
Smart computer systems, with more advanced data processing and cognitive ability than humans could lead to solving complex environmental concerns like humanitarian crisis, climate change and poverty.
