PVC Tiles
Pvc tiles although combustible, they have a high-class performance. They are mostly used in India as floor tiles in residential buildings. The shape is square with 30 cm, 60 cm or 90 cm sides. There are also sheets and rolls for larger floors and are then fixed with the help of adhesives.
Glazed Tiles
Glazedtiles are easily available in the market with the option of matte or glossy finish. People choose according to their preferences. If it is to be used in kitchen, bath, balconies or WC, matte finish is used to avoid slipping.The shape is usually square with 10 cm x 10 cm, 15 cm x 15 cm or 10 cm x 20 cm.
Terrazzo tiles
Terrazzo tiles are mainly used for bedrooms, risers of the stairs and living rooms. The size varies from 20 cm x 20 cm to 30 cm x 30 cm. these tiles are laid on concrete with cement of 3cm thickness. It is advisable that there are spare tiles in the house that can be replaced when needed.
Chequered Tiles
They have grooves of about 2.5 cm in each direction and are quite similar to terrazzo tiles. Their method of laying is similar to any other tile being laid. They give an exclusive look at wall tiles.
Vitrified Tiles


Vitrified tiles are always in demand for in residential buildings as floor tiles. They are easily cleaned and give a good look to the house, however, they are costly. Their size is up to 60 cm x 60 cm.
